Russell Chandler III Chair and Professor in Georgia Tech's Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering and directs the NSF Artificial Intelligence Institute for Advances in Optimization (AI4OPT).

Tech AI Pillars

Tech AI is organized around four pillars: applied research, industry partnerships, AI engineering, and workforce development. These pillars work synergically to develop AI solutions that address some of the fundamental societal challenges of our times in energy, supply chains and manufacturing, health care, transportation, and services, Tech AI also builds responsible AI technologies that are rigorously validated and self-tuned, works with industrial partners to  help benefit from the AI revolution, and develops education programs to address the shortage of AI talent.
