Pascal Van Hentenryck, director of Tech AI and the U.S. National Science Foundation Artificial Intelligence Institute for Advances in Optimization (AI4OPT) at Georgia Tech, delivered a featured talk and participated in a panel discussion at the 2025 Georgia Logistics Summit on April 23 at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta.

As the A. Russell Chandler III Chair and professor in the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISyE), Van Hentenryck shared insights on how artificial intelligence is transforming supply chain systems—making them more efficient, adaptive, and resilient.

In the panel session titled “AI and Beyond: Embracing Digital Transformation in Logistics,” Van Hentenryck joined leaders from The Home Depot, Havertys Furniture, and TOTO USA to discuss how organizations are leveraging AI and other emerging technologies to meet the evolving demands of logistics.

Van Hentenryck also spotlighted Georgia Tech’s leadership in developing responsible and scalable AI solutions that address real-world challenges in mobility, supply chains, and infrastructure.

Hosted by the Georgia Center of Innovation and detailed at the official summit website, the Georgia Logistics Summit convenes industry experts, government leaders, and academic researchers to explore the future of logistics in Georgia and beyond. This year’s summit emphasized digital transformation, talent development, and the growing role of AI in logistics innovation.
